& Blue Grotto

Dingli cliffs

These cliffs represent the highest point of the Maltese islands. The cliffs propose a majestic sight; the views overlooking the terraced fields underneath and the panorama of the vast open seas with the uninhabited small island of Filfla on its backdrop, are truly breath-taking!

Marsaxlokk

Marsaxlokk is a small, traditional fishing village in the Southeastern Region of Malta. It has a harbour, and is a tourist attraction known for its views, fishermen and history. Marsaxlokk fishing village is the largest fishing harbour in Malta. It has been so since antiquity and today the greater part of fish sold on the islands are caught by fishermen coming from this village.

Marsaxlokk’s Sunday Market

Visiting the Marsaxlokk Market on Sunday is probably on every traveller’s list of things to do when they are in Malta.

Marsaxlokk Market takes place every Sunday from 7am-3pm. These markets are filled with stuff such as fish, sweets, traditional Maltese food, and much more.

Although the Marsaxlokk Sunday Market was originally a fish market, it has developed, and now it also sells many different things.

Blue Grotto

The Blue Grotto is several sea caverns on the southern coast of Malta, west of Wied iz-Zurrieq harbour and across the small uninhabited islet of Filfla. Everyday from sunrise until about 1pm a unique sight led to the water mirroring shows numerous shades of blue.

If weather permits, you can do a 25-minute boat trip around the caves for an extra cost.
