This tour includes a half day tour with licensed guide, tasting of wine with savories. During this tour, you will also visit the three cities in the south of Malta.
Wine tasting
The wine tasting tour includes a historical introduction amongst original artefacts, Followed by an explanation about the process of how the locally grown grapes and pressed, fermented and eventually transformed into wine. A walk through the 400 year old ‘Ageing Cellars’ Is an authentic and true piece of Maltese heritage. The wine sampling it's held in a Marsovin wine bar, where train stuff guide guests through wine tasting session to sample different Marsovin bread and cheese. Add the bar also one has the opportunity to purchase local wine.
Cospicua
Cospicua is a unique place as it was built on five different hills and has two set of fortifications! The second fortification was believed to have been built after the great siege of Malta in 1565 when the population were fearful of further attacks on the city.
The Three Cities.
Vittoriosa (also known as Birgu)
It is situated on a small peninsula, just south of Valletta across Grand Harbour. Originally known as Il Borgo, and then Birgu, it was one of the most important towns in medieval Malta.
Senglea
Senglea is a fortified city watching out over the Grand Harbour and the Maltese capital Valletta.
